College Intern – Water/Wastewater

RK&K is hiring a College Intern for Summer 2025 to join our Water/Wastewater team in Richmond, VA. Our interns will receive on-the-job training, mentorship and insight into various aspects of the consulting engineering industry from planning, study and design through construction phase engineering services on a variety of wastewater projects.   

 Required Qualifications   

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an interest in municipal wastewater treatment design   
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel)   
  • Strong attention to detail   
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment   
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills   
  • Valid driver’s license    

Preferred Qualifications    

  • Participation in professional societies or extracurricular activities   
  • Applicable prior internship experience   
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Salary Range: $17-$26/hr.
